Checking in and sharing great memories..

It’s been long.. Terribly long ago since I last published a picture of a postcard or letterart, or any sign of life from my side.

All this time I’ve been here and I still am, trying to find the balance between all the time work is eating up, making sure it doesn’t eat up too much so there is still time left for the other fun things to do like writing postcards, creating mail art  and so much more!

It seems I spend winter time mainly with working, and if I wasn’t working, I was enjoying a good book on my christmas present; my own e-reader! Hurray! 🙂

 

Eearlier today, I saw a short movie about our honeymoon that we did back in September 2011. We took the Trans Mongolian Express train then and travelled by train all the way from Moscow to Irkutsks to Ulan Batar to Beijing. It was a trip of more than 8000 kilometers, and we travelled by train!  This movie certainly brought back memories and ever since our trip, whenever I see a train, all I can think of is when can I pack my bags and take that awesom train again?

Counting down..

Within less then a few hours, we will receive the key to our new house! I can’t express how excited/super stressed I am! We will have to sign many papers but the most important one is certainly the contract of buying the house!

Plans are that in the coming few days we will paint the rooms and fix a few things here and there. From then on, we can start moving things, because everything else is already as it should be!

Meanwhile the most important paper work things are arranged, but you never know what else is showing up! So better to be prepared while it’s nothing then not being prepared at all!

Our dreamhouse..

Arthur and I have visited a lot houses in Belgium in the area of Turnhout… Finally, we found our dreamhouse ! 🙂

Here are is a picture to share how it looks like on the outside!

We’re really happy we bought it and even though we have to move to another country, it won’t be that far from where we currently live; about 40 minutes driving by car.

The financial things are for 90% already arranged, only thing we still need to do is setting a date… 🙂

The idea is to do it somewhere in October, most probably at the end of October..

I will keep you posted if there’s more news! 🙂
