Hurray!!

This week is the last week @ work before my holidays! Only 4 more days working left after today..  I already started thinking about what I should take along with me, what I still need to shop, what I still need to do before I can leave on holidays, etc. I’m so very happy it’s coming close as the past few days have been really hectic.  I tried to rest a lot during the weekend and from what I can see and feel, I feel better today. But perhaps, later today, the tiredness might hit me again. I don’t know. I’ll wait and see!

Arthur and I are going on holidays to Portugal.

 

As you can see on the map above, it’s next to Spain and near France. We’re going to a small place called Estoril, which is near Lisbon, the main capital of Portugal.

On the image below, you can have a good look at where Estoril is located.

We will be going for 2 weeks and will go by plane. We’ll leave from Amsterdam Schiphol and land on Lisbon airport. From there we will have a transfer to our hotel in Estoril..

I can’t wait!!!

The past few weeks, it somehow feels like weekends aren’t enough anymore to rest and ‘reload’ myself with new energy for the coming working week.. Although I go to bed early and keep in mind that I have 8 hours of sleep, also those moments aren’t enough to feel less tired while being at work..  It honestly isn’t fun as I feel sleepy when returning at home after work. Sometimes I just fall asleep when sitting on the sofa, and it doesn’t matter if that’s before or after dinner, it just happens both moments… The only thing that ‘helps’ is being to busy to feel asleep, but then again, I feel so tired in the evening when going to bed that I can’t fall asleep.. And so it’s always something… I’m really counting down to holidays which will start September 1rst.. After this week, only 2 more weeks left.. Let’s hope I can keep it up and have enough energy for those 2 weeks..

As I wrote a few days ago, I need to have patience for my car to arrive…  I wanted to write an update on that one :)  Last Wednesday (July 25th to be exact) I went along with my mom to arrange everything so that it would be possible for me to drive on the Dutch roads, as the mark plate had to be a dutch one and not a belgian one. There was a lot of paperworks that needed to be done, but finally, since this weekend, I have the mark plates. Now I have to wait until next weekend, as then I will be able to go to Belgium and go get the car..  Until then, patience is needed again.. (But luckily it will come closer!!) I will also place a picture of me and my car when I have it 🙂
